Membership connects your agency to regional disaster response networks, large-scale training exercises, and emergency resource coordination systems built for catastrophic events.

Disaster Response Network: Connect with agencies through established disaster coordination frameworks and large-scale emergency activation protocols

Membership is Free

Providence Corridor membership is completely free for all agencies and individual responders. We are committed to removing barriers to participation and fostering a truly inclusive regional network.

Our operations are made possible through grants and voluntary sponsorships. If your organization is in a position to support our mission, sponsorships are always welcome but never required.

Membership Types

We offer two primary types of membership to bring everyone into the regional network.

Agency Member

(Primary Membership)

This is the primary membership for organizations. It connects your entire agency to the Providence Corridor network, including all services, training programs, and disaster coordination frameworks.

Individual First Responder

(For individuals)

For active or retired first responders (EMS, Fire, LE, etc.) who are not affiliated with a member agency but wish to get involved, volunteer, or attend training.

Who Can Join

Providence Corridor membership is open to emergency response organizations operating within or serving the Northeast region, including:

Municipal EMS services (career, volunteer, or combination staffing models)
Fire departments and fire-based EMS operations
Hospital-based EMS services and interfacility transport programs
Private ambulance companies serving regional communities
Volunteer rescue squads and ambulance corps
Search and rescue teams
Regional special operations task forces
Emergency blood and organ transport organizations
Regional EMS councils and coordinating bodies

Application Process

Joining Providence Corridor is straightforward. Complete our membership application form, which requests basic information about your agency including service area, staffing model, capabilities, and mutual aid interests. Your application will be reviewed by our membership committee, and you'll be contacted within two weeks to discuss next steps and answer any questions.

New members participate in an orientation session to learn about consortium programs, meet other member agencies, and begin building the relationships that make mutual aid effective. There's no lengthy approval process—if you're an EMS agency serving the region and committed to cooperative principles, you're welcome at Providence Corridor.
